Roy Vogt is a great multi-genre bass guitar player and teacher. He recorded and performed with several famous musicians like Larry Coryell, Dave Weckl, Miroslav Vitous, or Victor Wooten. Roy plays on bass guitar, fretless, and upright bass. You could see him performing on MTV’s Headbanger’s Ball, Montreaux Jazz Festival, The London Palladium, and many other places.
He was the first person who received a Master’s degree in Electric Bass Performance from the University of Miami. Except for playing, Roy teaches at the prestigious Belmont University in Nashville.
